Water Quality Testing And Monitoring

Crescent Valley High School students have helped Jefferson third graders perform water quality tests, including temperature, turbidity, pH and dissolved oxygen and are in the process of entering their data onto the National Water Monitoring Day web site.

Student tests and experiments will continue for the next three years and organizers hope this will be a continuous project that will enhance learning at Jefferson Elementary for those in the larger community.
